memories

Memories. Everyone has memories. Some are really random, some have special meanings...they're memories. What do you do with your memories? Do you just keep them in your head, hoping you'll remember them forever? Do you write them down in a diary/journal? Put them on your blog? I've been sitting here for about 1/2 hour, thinking of what to post, (Well, talking to Ally on msn at the same time :P) and I finally decided on memories. This is actually the first time I've thought about 'memories' in a long time. And, really -- we don't want to forget our childhood. You know how, like, maybe it's your birthday, and an old person goes 'Wow, your so young! I can't even remember being that age!' or something like that. But then, on the other hand -- my great-grandfather is ninety-something, and he has written, like, heaps about his life! I don't want to forget my life. I want to remember it, all the little details that make life so special, in a way that's special to me. That's what I want to do. Maybe, I'll even start another blog, like a diary, I don't know...

I'm praying for you all,

  2. Wow, you must be a mind reader or something. I've been thinking about writing a blog about memories as well, but I can't start writing again until Friday (it's a long story).

I write all my memories down. This week and last week I seem to be in lala land during school. I have been completely out of it and just daydreaming. Thinking of my past and where I am today because of it.

Something I think about a lot nowadays is about 3 years ago, when my church had youth pastors and I just like to think about the fun memories we had with them. I know it's been 2 years since they moved, but I still miss them a lot.

  3. Hey EMily,
Thats great! i write my memories in a journal and stuff but that's a really good way of looking at it. Sometimes I will go back to my journal as a kid and read stuff that I TOTALLY would have forgotten if I hadn't written it down!
Thanks for the encouragement ad keept up the gr8t work!

Well, we'll certainly have a lot of memories reading back on our blog posts, and reading the comments. You girlz are actually a pretty huge part of my life...because you're always there, whenever I go to my blog, there's an encouraging comment waiting for me to read...
