reading...don't forget to listen.

Okay, I don't know about you, but usually, when I'm reading the bible, I don't really listen to hear what God might be telling me. I mean, I try. But I just want to read it, just want to finish the book. But that's not what we need to do. We need to listen for God -- and, while I'm away, that's what I'm going to do -- well, I'm going to do it after I get back, as well, of course. But you know what I mean. And, I'm going to read Phillipians. I've never read it before, but I've seen parts of it before, in the Christy Miller books. I'm really excited about reading it...So, I challenge you girls, do choose a book, and yes, read it -- but at the same time, be listening for God. And then, after you've read part of it -- not all of it, just a small portion at a time, so that God's word can sink in...and then just have a quiet time, between you and God.
