live.laugh.love. Your Life in FAITH

For today's post, I'm going to write out my diary entry from last night...

Ya know, God, while I was making my toasted sandwich, I realized something. We don't know how long we're going to live. It's so true -- live.laugh.love. We need to enjoy the short time we spend here on earth. Who CARES what that guy in class says to me? So what if others think I'm stupid? Ugly? Pretty? Awesome?Weird? ME? NO!
I'm not going to let what others think of me influence me in a bad way. Not anymore.
God, I feel this...passion, you might call it -- rising inside of me.
To tell EVERYONE -- to go live.laugh.love their lives in faith!

When I die, I want to spend eternity with you, God. I want to live my live so that IS where I'll be spending eternity. And you know what? I want EVERYONE to be there. I don't want anyone to miss out on the plans you have for ALL of us.
We're here, on eath, for such a short time. I want to make the most of my life.

You know what my dream is? Not to go to Paris, or London. Not to become a famous author, though I'd love to do those things.
My dream is that everyone would live.laugh.love their lives in FAITH!
That everyone would accept you into their hearts -- into their lives.
That, when You come back to us, everyone could be there.
That's my dream. That everyone could spend eternity with You, in Heaven. God, I don't want anyone to miss out -- I really don't!

I'm so lucky to have been brought up in a home where I was raised to Live.Laugh.Love my way in Faith. In You, God. And that's what I want to do, forever. That's my life-long goal.
To Live.Laugh.Love my life in Faith. Faith in God. Forever.

Love, Emily

  1. Great post, emily! You're right, you know. People think that their lives are going to last so long and that they can become Christians when they're old. Little do they know, however, that their life could end tomorrow. We need to make the most of what we've got while we're here on earth so that when we're in heaven we won't think "Oh, I wish I would have done this or I wish I would have done that". We should live with this thought in mind: Jesus died on the cross yesterday, rose from the grave today, and is coming back tomorrow. Have a great week, emily!
