2 Corinthians 4:16
Isn't that encouraging? It's like, even though it seems like everything is going wrong, nothing is going according to how you'd planned -- well, God is working on something even better.
"on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace."
Not a day goes by without God's unfolding grace. What does that mean? I think it means that God's grace is never-ending. Every single day, even though things are going wrong, God's here. And he's not just standing by, watching it all. He's turning the bad things into good. I was going to write that verse, too, (About God turning bad things into good things) but I'm not sure where to find it...
But I just wanted to share that with you. Have faith in God, that things will work out. They will.
And, if you haven't been to Libby's blog yet, you won't know that her brother was taken to hospital today... please pray for him! And, Libby, remember the verse :)

I got home from youth group last night, and it was like almost 10 pm, and I turned on my computer to check emails and stuff, and there was your post in my 'blogs you follow' list thing. and all I read was the title, but it hit me. So I grabbed my Bible and read the verse and it was JUST what I needed to hear right at that moment, cause some kinda bad/weird stuff is like going on, but the verse you posted on was such an encouragement to me!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad this verse helped. I put it in the card I gave to my mum on the 27th August, (Her birthday) and it certainly seemed to apply to the day... it went nothing like she'd planned...but God is totally in control :)
