The Book Study Thing
So, girlz. The book study poll ended in a tie -- with Diary of a Teenage Girl series by Melody Carlson, and Do Hard Things by Alex & Brett Harris.
What I want you to do -- comment in and tell me why you want which book... and I'll see what it looks like YOU most want to read... and what I most want to read, too, of course :P
Anyway, be thinking about why -- oh, and btw -- I need a name for this "Book Study Thing" -- any suggestions? :)

i want diary of teenage of a teenage girl bc ive finished the kim series and im starting on the chloe series. pretty good reason huh? plus i cant find the other series...but ill keep lookin!! :)
ReplyDeleteI choose Diary of a Teenage Girl, LOL, because I looove the series! ...also, they have study group questions at the back of each book, which will help :)
ReplyDeleteIDK, I've never read either one.....
ReplyDeleteI really don't care. I love Melody Carlsons books and I already have Do hard things. Sooo...whatever :)
ReplyDeleteI chose 'Nama High -- I was thinking, because there was a tie, you could do Nama High because that's only one vote lower, but anyway -- because it has really, relaly good messages for us girlz. And if you wanted to do a Godly study on it, those books would be PERFECT :)
ReplyDeleteI chose Do Hard Things, because it is a powerful (and comical :P) book about doing Hard things for the glory of God, doing things that you have to go out of your comfort zone to do. Also, DHT also has a study guide and the web site, and the forum, tons of resorces on there!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of the other book, so, I personnally would be more apt to read posts about DHT. Anyways...
In Christ,
Buttercup :)
I choose Do Hard Things! :) I already have the book and it is so powerful! A great message to teens today.
ReplyDeleteI really want the Diary of a Teenage Girl series for Christmas, but I agree with Buttercup. I would probably read the posts if you pick Do Hard things more :)
Blessings!

I personally would like for you to do the study on Do Hard Things. I'm not just saying this because I have the book, but also because I have been wanting to read it and I have heard that it has a great Christian message that can inspire us to do hard things.LOL!:) So PLEASE do the study on Do Hard Things!!
