Randomness Friday


Okay, I haven't done a RF in a looong time, mostly because I keep forgetting it's Friday, LOL. In case you didn't know, it was Prism who created "Randomness Friday " -- click on her name to see her AWESOME blog!

First up -- NaNoWriMo. What IS NaNoWriMo? Here's what  they have to say about it:

"It is a fun, seat-of-your-pants novel writing event where the challenge is to write an entire novel in just 30 days. That means participants begin writing November 1 and must finish by midnight, November 30. The word-count goal for our adult program is 50,000 words, but our Young Writers Program allows participants who are 17 years old and younger to set reasonable, yet challenging, word-count goals."


My goal? 50,000 words... I sure hope I get there! So far I'm at 12,394 -- I had a day off yesterday, I was just SO tired!

Okay, onto some more randomness....

FarmVille, on Facebook. Okay, maybe you're just soo addicted to it -- but seriously, I don't have TIME to sit at a screen and harvest food, and click on animals all day long! But do you know what annoys me most (Well, not really annoys -- I don't actually care) -- but when people just have all those crops things covering the whole land -- well, where's the fun in that? Here's a picture of my little farm --
it's a little, cute farm -- and I can't be bothered playing it! I mean, people join Facebook just to play Farmville! :P
Next subject -- New Blog Readers! Over the last couple of weeks, I've gotten some new blog readers, and followers! So, be sure to check out their awesome blogs!

NEW topic... we have casual day at school today -- the year 11's are holding it, to raise money for a school, in Africa. :)

I hope you enjoyed today's RF... now I'd really better get ready for school...:(

    Anyways, thank you! Your post is cute. I love the farm! ;) My sister used to do that on FB, but then it got too addicting....*grin* JUST A WARNING. =)

    A casual day is another word for free-dress -- we don't have to wear our uniforms, we can wear what we want :D

    In America, well, in most states, they dont wear uniforms, so I think that's why it confused Chelsea a little.
    And some Australians call free-dress mufti day, like me lol :)

    Hi! Buttercup told me about you when she read on my blog that I'm doing NaNoWriMo... I've read several of your posts and I think I might have to make a habit of it! Way to go with your word count! Mine is no where NEAR where it needs to be, but I'm having so much fun!
    FarmVille on facebook isn't nearly as much fun as Farm Town, in my opinion. I know there are a lot of people who disagree with me, though. And both can be addicting. I've never gotten in trouble for it, though!

    Yeah, I personally don't like Farmville either... I have a feeling I started out on Farm Town, and accidently "converted" to Farmville, cuz suddenly it waz way different, LOL!
