Decisions. They can be tough, can't they? We're faced with decisions everyday. Some big, some small. I've been trying to choose between two things lately, and I've come to a conclusion.
...And then I was like, "Wait. Should I be choosing the other one?"
That's when my dad explained to me that, when we're making a decision we shouldn't (sorry!) use should, could -- because, well, I don't remember why.
I'll let you know why sometime.
And then, God told me, there's no wrong answer. Both choice's would lead to different opportunities; but neither is wrong.
We have to pray and ask God what He wants us to do. It took me awhile to finally get around to this -- because I didn't want Him to tell me to do something I didn't want to do. I was afraid of His answer.
But what's that verse, about God not giving us more than we can handle?
We have to trust that God -- our Daddy -- knows what He's doing. Because I'm his daughter. I know that my dad only wants the best for me. God is the same.
Whether you're trying to decide what flavour you want at the ice-cream shop -- or what you should wear today, or what movie you should see -- don't sweat it.
Remember that God wants the best for you. Seek Him in everything you do. When you're trying to make a decision, make sure God is at the centre.
Make God your entire life. That's what I'm trying to.
And pray for this world. We're lost, and... earthquake's, tsunami's... we're falling apart. Be with us, Jesus.
