effortless beauty

So, I was reading a post over at Talia's blog the other day -- about being beautiful.

And then we went for a run the other day at school, on this path. Well, I was running by myself -- which I love -- I mean, some alone time during school? -- and was looking at the scenery. The water wasn't a gorgeous colour. The boats weren't magnificent. The sky wasn't bright blue.

It wasn't something most of the world would consider amazing.

But when I saw it, I knew it was beautiful.

Oh, the sunset was spectacular this morning. I opened the curtains upstairs, and light literally flooded into the room. It was orange, and it was beautiful. I wish I had a picture. It was so bright and powerful. Yet for God, something like the sun rising is effortless; He creates beauty without even batting an eyelash.

I took this a few months ago. Beautiful is the only word I can come up with. I don't think I need a thesauras. :)
