pretty apethetic.

Do you take your friends for granted? I know I do. I was sore today. And grumpy. And tired.  And I know I wasn't a very good friend -- to anyone. God gave me opportunities -- but I refused to accept them. 


Apathy. I learned this word today. I'm not sure what we were learning about, exactly -- but according to dictionary.com, this is what it means... 

[apathy]
absence or suppression of passion, emotion, or excitement.


Okay, so I could be slightly exaggerating here -- I'm not depressed. But you know those days where you're feeling down, and you figure, hey, what's the point of even trying to lift up? Let's just get through the day. 


But that's no way to live. That's how I lived today. But it's not fun. It's not happy... it's pretty apathetic, isn't it? 


It's a new day. dear Jesus, I love You that much. I don't want to be afraid to live. I have to follow You, though. You won't leave me behind. You're holding out Your hand, and it's time for me to take it. 
Let's go, Jesus. I'm with You.
