The rich, proper, dignified-looking people walking into the church. Harry turning around and laughing, whispering something to Will. Kate's sister, Pippa, walking in, holding hands with the flower girls. The choir with those funny collar's and amazing voices. How do they get so loud?
The moment everyone was waiting for -- Kate's dress. Who designed it? This person who died last year. A very famous designer, I take it. Alexander or someone. Forgive me, it's not my profession. :)
The fact that when she was a little girl, maybe Kate dreamed of marrying her Prince and becoming a Princess and living in a castle. Believing it in her heart but moving on in her mind.
You know what? When my time on earth is up, I'm going to live forever in God's Kingdom -- as His Princess.
I think it's something my mind can't really comprehend; but my heart does. Knows it. Understands it. Believes it.

I just read this chapter in The Message version of the Bible. 1 Peter 5.

ReplyDeleteI was going to wake up really early (like, 4:30 AM) to watch it live, but I forgot to set my alrm clock so I watched the rerun. It was totally awesome, though!
