1 Timothy 4:12

"don't let anyone look down on you because you're young, but set an example for the believers in speech,  in life,  in love, in faith and in purity."

As I was rushing out the door this morning (Okay, not rushing. I'm not a rusher.) my eye caught sight of this verse on my wall. And then I thought... well, I'm not bothered by the whole young thing. But what if I put...

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you're shy -- but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

Or maybe it's, "Don't let anyone look down on you because you never seem to say the right thing," or because "Everyone seems to fit in except for you."

But we do, don't we? I do. I think I'm not good enough. I should be better, different.

But there's a reason God made me. He made me the girl I am that lives for Him. And I'm not God -- so I'm not totally sure what that reason is. But there's a reason. Yes, there is.
