Movie Review: Tangled
I watched this for the first time a few weeks ago. (Yes, I know. Really? It took me that long to see it?) And I absolutely loved it. So much, in fact, that we watched it the next day.

The songs are awesome. I love when the Prince guy -- whose not actually a prince, but you know who I'm talking about -- shows up at her place, and he's just like, "I know not why I am here, nor who you are, but..." *Flips his hair* "Hey, how's it goin'? How's your day been?" Makes me smile. And when he's like, "It's hidden in that pot over there, isn't it?" *Rapunzel bangs frying pan into his head* "Now it's hidden where you'll never find it."
When Rapunzel and her guy -- oh, his name's Eugene, got it -- are walking through the forest headed for the palace village place, the "mother" shows up. "Oh, Rapunzel, don't be demented," always gets a laugh.
It was a fun movie. Her hair is SO cool. I love in the first song, the one about what she does in her day, and she flips her hair and it lands in a spiral around her -- that's one of my favourite parts. Because it is just that awesome.
Like I said -- the songs are great. Ooh, and the part at the "restaurant" with all the bad guys, and Prince Charming (Yeah, I'm just gonna call him that because that's who he is) is like, "Sorry guys, I don't sing." And then they all bring out the swords, and the next thing we know he's dancing across the tables. Still makes me smile.
So, if you feel like smiling, I'd recommend going out and renting -- or buying -- this movie. Because you'll love it. If you've seen it, what were your favourite parts? Favourite songs? That song about the lights when they're on the canoe thing-o-ma-bobby is quite beautiful. Haha, and the mother knows best one is pretty hiliariously strangly weirdly kinda cool.
...and that's all for now.

I know right, it and he's the best!
ReplyDeleteOhh, I absolutely love this movie. =) Eugene is so super cool and should be every guy's role model in my opinion. ;P And one of my favorite things about it is the way that Eugene and Maximus the horse are always going at each other. Hehe, love it!

ReplyDeleteI agree, Tangled is totally awesome! :)
ReplyDeleteI love that movie so much! One of my favorite parts is when she leaves the tower with "Flinn" and then goes from joyous to sad and back again over and over again. It's hilarious! The horse Maximus is also awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness I bought the movie so that I watch it all the time!
I absolutely love this movie (and its music). One of my favorite parts is, like you said, when they point the swords at him and he's like "surrounded by enormous piles of money." It's funny. I like it when they're in a canoe too. My favorite songs are "When Will My Life Being" "I Have a Dream" and "I See The Light." I love the whole movie! Pascal and Maximus are too cute:). Yes, that's his name - Eugene Fitzherbert ;).
ReplyDeleteOk, I am a Tangled fanatic, and as much as I see you doing a good thing here, your lack of Tangled education made me wince as I was reading this review. I'm sorry, but I just had to tell you. Keep up the good work! :D
