New Zealand

Hey there! A week away in New Zealand and I'm back. Thanks for the comments left while I was away -- and Nicole, you said something about not buying the Sierra Jensen books because you don't like to re-read -- well, this could be just me, but... I've read all the books in the series about six times. So it's definitely worth it. For me, anyway! And about the mini-interviews? Just go to the authors site and ask them for a mini-interview. They're lovely people.

Reading: Jane Eyre. I know -- me? I've never gotten past the first chapter in these "classics" in my entire life -- and here I am, can't put it down!

Truly a beautiful place. The water, so clear; the mountains, so... snow-topped and... mountain-y.

Instead of sandy beaches, New Zealand has rocky lakes.

I've been reading Psalms; the poetic lyrics speak truths we still feel and know and understand today. They bring comfort of our Daddy and knowledge that He's here for us and He's not going anywhere. Ever.

Titled, "A Pilgrim Song," Psalm 121:
I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains?
No, my strength comes from God,
who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

  He won't let you stumble,
your Guardian God won't fall asleep.
   Not on your life! Israel's
Guardian will never doze or sleep.

 God's your Guardian,
right at your side to protect you—
   Shielding you from sunstroke,
      sheltering you from moonstroke.

God guards you from every evil,
      he guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return,
he guards you now, he guards you always.
