the day of today
listening to: strong enough to save, by tenth avenue north
i just finished my first draft. first time ever typing those two words, "the end".
thinking about: i'm not here for long. i gotta forget what people say about me and think about me and look to Jesus for every single thing i do and say and think. i'm going to spend eternity with my best friend and i want the whole world to be there. and the only way that's going to happen is if i forget about myself and wanting what i want, not give a stuff what people think of me and love like Jesus loves. impossible? sounds like it. but with Jesus? not at all. because i can do anything with Jesus who gives me strength.
i'm going to do my best this year. i'm going to do my homework. i could never figure out why things like that mattered in the picture of life, but i know now. because Jesus loves me and i gotta do my best just because, well, i died to this world -- the life i'm living i live by faith in the Son of God who loves me and gave himself for me.
Jesus is my life. i never ever want to forget this. i want to spend every moment of my life loving and singing about Jesus and writing about Jesus and spreading Jesus' hope into the hearts of this world. there's no time to think about me and being cool and thinking of the right things to say. because Jesus will give me the words to say -- He told me so Himself;
listening to: a song that feels like a childhood memory. ooh, it's who i am by casting crowns. i think it's been a long time since i've heard it.
no matter how many days i have left to live on this earth, one day or a hundred years -- every second i will be held by Jesus. i don't have to worry about anything, because i know who i am in Christ; and that is everything i am. Jesus' daughter, His servant, and Jesus, well, He is my life. everything i am.
it's not about writing a bestseller or making a million dollars or being voted most popular. it's about letting the world know that Jesus loves them, and that in Him there is Eternal happiness. a forever hope; a continual joy.
Jesus, I thankYou for giving me life.

But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. Matthew 10:19i'm going to write music oh and yesterday we made cookies and they were scrumptious, we ate them all. Jesus has blessed me with life, and now i must live it with Him, for Him.
