that word.. you know.. control.
people want to be in control of their lives.
they steer clear of the whole God-thing because they want to be free to do what they want with their lives.
but something occurred to me the other day.
no-one's in control of their own life.
it's either the world who's got their hold on you...
or God IS holding you.
don't be afraid of crawling to God, begging Him to protect you. don't be afraid to live a life as God's beautiful daughter. you do know that He's the One who created the world, right? and that this Creator, the one who made this place and made you, loves you more than anything -- including the giraffe, who has a super-duper awesome neck? we let that notion of, "i won't be in control of my life," keep us from God.

Does that make you freak out? Want to scream? Then so be it. But then, let's serve Jesus and this beautiful world with our whole hearts, hey? Let them know Jesus' love. ♥

Over the summer I nannied these two boys, and we would always have to bike up this GIGANTIC hill and a few miles to get to the pool- and needless to say the little guys were worn out.
