RED and committed

I'm giggling excitedly. RED is officially OUT! Right now I'm listening to All Too Well. Oh, I'm so excited!

I was reading through pieces of some of Paul's letters this morning, and saw how, at the end of them, he'd use different words to describe God's grace. Like, "God's incredible grace be with you," (02 Thessalonians) and, "God's overwhelming grace be with you," (01 Timothy). I thought it was cool. And that maybe we can find all the words used and put them all alongside eachother and try to understand, to grasp, even just a tad -- of what grace really is.

And I was also thinking, how much we go around doing things based on what we feel. I remembered something I learned in CS Lewis' Mere Christianity (and I'm not quoting, just remembering!) and in Paul's letters --

"Stick with what you learned and believed." Commitment. Knowing truth.

CS Lewis said, (remember, not quoting here!) "Loving God... God can give us the feelings if He wants... but we love Him by obeying Him."

Paul said to Timothy, "Don't ever quit. Just keep it simple." 

Seek God. 

Seek His Truth. 

Trust Him. 

Wait for God, put your hope in Him. 

Don't worry; pray instead. 

Never give up. God won't. 

this is adventure, everything'll be alright. 

But those who wait on the Lord
